Dr. Jason Seiden is proud of the outstanding pulmonary and sleep medicine practice of NTX Lung and Sleep. He is originally from Long Island, New York where he was in practice with the Long Island Lung Center in Bay Shore, New York. He completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) at New Jersey Medical School, where he served as a chief fellow. Dr. Seiden earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and completed his Fifth Pathway training at New York Medical College. Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine were completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, where he also served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center. His clinical interests include obstructive lung disease, infections of the respiratory tract, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Seiden is fluent in English and Spanish. His personal interests include fitness, fishing, skiing, photography, golf, and spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Seiden is the Director of Critical Care Medicine at Texas Health Huguley Hospital, where he also serves on the Clinical Informatics, Critical Care, Palliative Care, and various other committees. He is also the past chairman of Medicine at Texas Health Huguley Hospital. In addition, Dr. Seiden is the Medical Director of the Community Hospice of Texas Lilge House on the Huguley campus. Dr. Seiden is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. He is available for both inpatient and outpatient consultation.

Rose Maina, ACNP is a licensed, certified nurse practitioner with extensive critical care background who proudly joined Dr. Seiden in 2013. Her incredible fund of knowledge, passion for patient care, and dedication are an invaluable component of our amazing practice. Rose has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of all pulmonary and sleep disorders. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Newman University in Wichita, KS in 2005, and her Masters of Science in Nursing as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Wichita State University in 2011. Her personal interests include traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband and son. She is licensed in both Texas and Kansas, and her certifications include Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, ACLS and BLS. Rose cares for NTX Lung and Sleep patients both in the office as well as the hospital.
